Computers have many enemies ranging from accidental users and viruses to malicious covert hackers. Often the only way to restore a computer is to use a restore procedure provided with the computer system, an option that is often not available and usually destructive and a loss of all data occurs. If your data isn't important or valuable your best option to restore your computer is to first try System Recovery found under HELP if you have Windows XP or Windows Millennium. If this doesn't work use the recovery CD's that came with the computer. If they have been lost, contact the manufacturer of the computer and inquire for another set of recovery or restore CD's. Some computers can restore themselves by pressing a certain key when they are first powered on, closely watch your screen to see if you have this option.
However, if your data is valuable or important you can contact us to attempt to recover your information from the hard drive of your computer. If you know you have a computer virus, these often aren't destructive and can be removed. This can be a very time consuming activity and so you should closely consider the options above first.
